Hand-shaped from clay and slowly painted in a fine dark line, finished with a warm earthy wash creating natural variations in tone. This talisman carries the image of a horse among pine trees and mountain peaks, with an amethyst stone set into the clay itself. An tribute to Kotten. 💜

Finished with a hand-braided four-strand macramé strand, small beads and a tiger eye gemstone at the top. Sealed with a transparent matte varnish for protection.
A note on this piece: it was my first experiment with an integrated gemstone. The clay around the amethyst carries a slight natural imperfection, reflected in the price. It does not affect the intention of the piece but it is important for me to be transparent. 🤍
